RITUAL PERFORMANCE OF MUONG ETHNIC COMMUNITY

Abstract

Muong ethnic group accounts for the largest population in Thanh Hoa province with their residential areas stretching over eleven mountainous districts. Through the process of historical development, Muong ethnic group in Thanh Hoa has created a rich folk cultural treasure, with many unique characteristics, different from the Muong people in other localities. In particular, the type of ritual performance plays an important role in the spiritual life of the people, with many historical, literary, artistic, spiritual values... Therefore, the preservation and promotion of the value of ritual performance of Muong ethnic group needs to be focused on more in the socio-economic development of Thanh Hoa province in particular and the whole country in general.
