Abstract

This study examined Thailand’s “7 Greens” campaign, a successful sustainable tourism management model in Southeast Asia, built on seven pillars: green mindset, green connectivity, green destinations, green communities, green activities, green services, and green responsibility. The research highlighted that Thailand’s success stems not only from technical standards but also from effective coordination among government agencies, businesses, and local communities. The study also drew practical lessons and reference values for Vietnam’s tourism sector, focusing on policy management, awareness-raising communication, and the development of green criteria for sustainable tourism practices.
