PROMOTING THE ECO-CULTURAL VALUES OF BA BỂ LAKE AREA, THÁI NGUYÊN PROVINCE, IN GREEN TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Ba Bể Lake, located in the heart of Ba Bể National Park in Thái Nguyên Province, is one of Vietnam’s unique natural wonders. With its vast water surface, rich primary forests, and diverse flora and fauna, the lake attracts many visitors. The local ethnic communities living around the lake have created distinct eco-cultural values. Promoting these values not only helps protect the environment and local culture but also provides a solid foundation for sustainable and green tourism development. This study identifies the eco-cultural values of the Ba Bể Lake area that can be utilized for tourism and proposes strategic solutions to develop green tourism sustainably.
