Aesthetic education is essential in preschool, fostering children’s aesthetic sensitivity, creativity, and social skills. This study explored its role through New Year-themed space decoration in kindergartens, which not only creates a stimulating learning environment but also conveys traditional cultural values. Employing literature review, observation, interviews, and pedagogical experiments, the research shows that decorated spaces positively affect children’s aesthetic perception, creative thinking, and learning attitudes. Additionally, such activities enhance the connection between schools, families, and communities, demonstrating how aesthetic education can support holistic development in preschool children.
