HARNESSING THE CULTURAL–HISTORICAL VALUE OF HOA LONG PAGODA FOR SUSTAINABLE LOCAL TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Hoa Long Pagoda (Bien Thuong Commune, Thanh Hoa  Province) is a prominent historical-cultural site that holds not only religious value but also rich elements of folk culture. This paper analyzes the pagoda’s historical, cultural, and spiritual values and proposes orientations and solutions for effectively leveraging the site in developing sustainable cultural-spiritual tourism at the local level.
