Abstract

The livelihood culture of Da Nang’s coastal residents has developed through their interaction with the marine environment. These diverse cultural values reflected the creativity and mindset of the community across historical periods. As Da Nang continues to develop, this livelihood culture was undergoing transformation. Field surveys in three former coastal villages-Nam O, Tan Thai, and Nam Tho-had revealed such changes. The paper evaluated these transformations and offered insights into the current state and development prospects of livelihood culture in Da Nang.
