Abstract

The Khmer people in the historical process have had early contact with Indian civilization. Until now, the traces of cultural exchange still exist in the life of the Khmer people, creating a solid cultural foundation, closely following the cultural life and traditional festivals. The research content is based on the theory of cultural diffusion to clarify the appearance of the Four - Faced God in the religious and cultural life of the Khmer people and discuss the creative reception when receiving the religious culture of Indian civilization.
