In the multi-ethnic Vietnamese national community, the system of customs, practices and forms of folk belief practices of 54 ethnic groups (including more than 700 local ethnic groups) is mainly based on the consciousness - psychology of gratitude, worship of the supporting power of natural forces, helping people to preserve life (such as land, trees, water, and other essential resources for life) and the gratitude and admiration of successive generations for ancestors and ancestors. In reality, due to shortcomings in respecting customs, practices and the de-sacred practices of ethnic groups and peoples, the effectiveness of the goal of protecting and promoting the value of the cultural heritage of ethnic groups has not been as expected. Some ways of behaving have raised many issues that need attention, consideration and application by the needs of social development, both in theory and practice.
This scientific article wants to pay attention to the process of implementing the goal of protecting and promoting the value of the cultural heritage of ethnic groups, in which it delves into some practical issues related to respecting customs, habits and sacredness in practicing beliefs of ethnic communities, aiming to apply them effectively and practically, meeting the established goals of the cause of building cultural and social life in Vietnam, currently and in the long term.
