METHODS OF ENGISH-VIETNAMESE TRANSLATION OF HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY TERMINOLOGIES

Abstract

The hospitality industry is an industry that provides necessary services to meet the customers’ needs of  accommodation, meals  and entertainment. Terminologies of hospitality industry are used to denote concepts and categories related to hospitality industry. This paper aims to discuss Methods of English-Vietnamese translation of Hospitality Industry terminologies. As a result, it gives us an overview of the translation process as well as the application of positive methods of English-Vietnamese translation of Hospitality Industry terminologies. Research results can be seen as references in dictionary compilation, teaching course of English for Hospitality Industry.
