MICE TOURISM IN THAILAND AND LESSONS LEARNED FROM MICE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN THANH HOA

Abstract

Located in the heart of Southeast Asia, with a long history and culture, Thailand is known as a tourist paradise in Asia. Beautiful weather, different climate zones and diverse terrain are favorable conditions for the formation of very attractive natural tourism resources. Currently, Thailand also has a system of technical facilities and infrastructure that meets the requirements of the domestic and international MICE tourism service industry. With modern facilities, infrastructure and transportation systems, a clear development strategy and a high-class MICE service system, Thailand has become one of the top choices for MICE markets around the world. Some lessons learned for developing MICE tourism in Thanh Hoa, a locality with many potentials and strengths to develop MICE tourism, from research results obtained from MICE tourism in Thailand.
