Abstract

Despite its important role in the North and South in the 16th century, the research works of modern Vietnamese authors rarely mention the Van Lai - Yen Truong capital. Up to now, the military capital of the Revival Lê dynasty only exists in the form of ruins, but the cultural space of Van Lai - Yen Truong still retains many unique cultural values. The capital was moved back and forth many times between the two areas of Van Lai and Yen Truong, only about 20 km apart. The article provides an overview of the existing space of this capital and its remaining tangible and intangible cultural values.
