Abstract

In addition to learning, discovering and experiencing the cultural values and services at the destination, tourists also have the need to buy specialties and souvenirs for themselves and friends during their trip. However, at many tourist destinations, there are few of such products and they are often monotonous or originated from other places that are not typical of the locality. This fact brings a lack of service to tourists during their trip. Therefore, developing products and specialties as gifts at each tourist destination is one of the top priorities. These products not only generate a source of revenue for the tourist destination, but they are also a key factor to create a complete tourism product chain, a brand for each destination.
