TET IN VIETNAMESE LITERATURE - A CASE STUDY OF TET IN VIETNAMESE PROSE AFTER 1986

Abstract

The cultural imprints of the nation such as the conception of beauty, love, ancestor worship, communication, dressing, Tet festival... reflected in a large number of literature works are clear proofs of the inner force of culture in the movement and development of the country. Accordingly, the strong vitality and unique identity of Vietnamese culture in the country's literature in particular and the national life in general are affirmed. In which, Tet is also a topic exploited in the literature. With an approach to intercultural literature, and topics from medieval literature to modern literature, the article focuses on introducing the picture of Tet through a multi-dimensional perspective in literature, especially Tet in Vietnamese prose from 1986 to present.
